GSC Pulse
How GSC Pulse Works
A fixed decision sequence keeps the first screen useful even when the portfolio grows.
1. Connect with read-only access
Chrome Identity requests the Search Console read-only scope. GSC Pulse cannot edit properties, submit sitemaps, or change websites.
2. Select a working portfolio
Choose properties that share an owner, market, team, or review cadence. Selections, favorites, labels, and notes stay in Chrome local storage.
3. Compare equal periods
Use 7, 28, or 90 days and compare with the immediately preceding equal period.
4. Build the priority
Clicks, impressions, CTR, position, concentration, scope, and data confidence shape the decision.
5. Enrich the strongest signals
Pages, queries, devices, countries, query-page pairs, Search Appearance, hourly pulse, and sitemaps are requested when supported.
6. Open evidence
Each useful card opens a page, query, segment, sitemap, or native Search Console report.
